“The Eviction” tells the story of the final month of Tent City, a sprawling community of homeless men and women under the intersection of Interstates 45 and 30 in Dallas.
After two murders in the encampment in a single month during 2016, Dallas officials emptied the camp. The short film follows organizations who served the homeless in the encampment.
“The Eviction” is a 38-minute documentary by University of North Texas film student Andrew Galloway. UNT will screen the documentary at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 184 at UNT’s Media Arts Building, 1179 Union Circle. Admission to the screening is free.

This was followed by a well attended showing. Then I come home to find an e mail from a Ph.D. who oversees a consortium of academics and city planners that wants to show my doc. That is going to happen on Friday 24. So... I had to quickly edit a final copy. This was done on Sat and uploaded and all yesterday and today. Busy week ahead.
